Bestival is a popular music festival that has taken place at Robin Hill Country Park near Newport on the Isle of WightBestival Photo since 2004. Set in a valley with beautiful scenery and miles of open space to explore as well as enjoy the full festival atmosphere and craziness that is Bestival.

This year’s music and entertainment is mixed across a variety of venues within the festival grounds with performances from The Cure, Major Lazor, Bastille, The Human League, Katy B as well as super-star DJs Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox and Diplo.

The Bestival takes place this year between Thursday 8th and Sunday 11th September and  attracts a wide range of music lovers from students to family groups with young children.

Masterminded and run by DJ and Sunday Best records owner Rob Da Bank, the festival currently attracts well over 50,000 people to the Isle of Wight and has won a series of awards.

The Bestival ensures fun is had by all and is very much more than just a music festival. The phenomenal live music line up with its variety of stages, acts and entertainment (plus a few secret surprises) Bestival is non-stop and also offers comedians, carnival light shade performances, chill out areas out of the main arena with in the ambient forest being magical and a must see, especially when lit up in the evenings. Each year the festival has a theme and this year is ‘The Future’ so goodness only knows what the creative team have got in store for us!

Camping is a big part of the festival experience but isn’t for everyone, so if you’d prefer your Bestival experience with a hot shower and a comfy bed, then we have a variety of options for you. Due to the central location of the festival, we have accommodation available across the island within easy reach of the Bestival. For a full list of available properties, click here.Carnive

Bestival operates shuttle bus services from all of the main Isle of Wight terminals to Robin Hill Country Park, apart from Fishbourne. Passengers arriving here that are wishing to make their own way will have to rely on the island’s normal bus network or call a taxi. Just be aware, it’ll be busy!
