On the ground floor you will find the lounge with comfortable seating for four guests, a wall mounted large flat screen television and a folding dining table and chairs, through the lounge there is a modern fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. A pretty court yard is located to the rear fo the property, this can be acccessed from the kitchen. The patio area provides a table and chairs to enjoy a morning coffee or some al fresco dining.

Gurnard is just along the coast from Cowes. Gurnard is a traditional promenade with privately owned wooden beach huts and a large grassy area to sit or play. There is also a fenced children's play ground and the beach offering a mixture of sand and shingle with rocks at low tide.
For eating, you will find a beachfront cafe as well as a pub overlooking the water. There is also a pub called the Portland Inn just a 2 minute walk away, popular with locals and visitors alike. The village has a very good local grocery store selling everything from fresh daily bread and milk to wine, so you are well catered for on all fronts.
The sailing town of Cowes is a lesuirely walk along the waterfron, along the Princes Esplanade a nice walk to soak up the sea air. Cowes is the home of yachting, famous as one of the world’s main yachting centres, Cowes Marina and Yacht Haven are both ideal locations for those with an interest in yachting, or simply those wishing to soak up the great atmosphere. Cowes Parade is an interesting place at any time of year to watch passing ships. The town centre has an abundance of small shops and supermarkets, with a varied choice of fine cafes, pubs and restaurants.
There is a lovely local church just by the property.
